File Explorer (and sometimes the whole Windows Explorer) freezes after opening files coming from discs

Hello,Recently I have copied a bunch of files from discs lying around to my computer, which would later be moved into a USB Flash Drive. Constantly, whenever I try to open folders that came from these discs, sometimes they work but other times it just freezes. Other times, Windows Explorer (the taskbar) freezes and restarts for no reason. I have already tried restarting several times but the problem is still there. Is there any solution for this type of problem? Thanks.
