FB Messenger

[Windows 11]

I have FB Messenger for desktop which recently advised that there was an update available. I d/l the update from Microsoft Store and installed it but it didn't work. I tried again but no joy. I keep getting an error message that says "the application failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect.Can you please advise how I might correct this. Thanks
