Failure to purchase Windows 11 Activation

Just finished putting together my new computer last night and have signed into windows. When I go to purchase the activation key for windows 11 in the Microsoft Store, I am told that the transaction is failed and I should try again at another time. I am met with the same response even after rebooting my system and trying different methods of payment. Any help in purchasing a genuine Windows 11 Home activation key from the microsoft store would be greatly appreciated.
