failed to install

MS says need new software to acces new update web site.
after d/l comes up with error 0x800704D - "cannot display page you requested.
direct me to useless FAQ site.
Any ideas how to install download???

0x800704D = Error_Not_Logged_On to network

Please post the last 50 or so lines of the WindowsUpdate.log that is
located in the WINDOWS directory [folder].
Start > Run > type in or copy&paste the below into the Open: line

%windir%\windowsupdate.log
Click OK
