External Hard drive won’t show up

I have a Windows 11 and an external hard drive that I use and it has a lot of my old pictures. I was using it last night and it was completely fine and now today it won’t show up in file explorer. When I connect the hard drive I get a notification sound that shows that it’s connected but it won’t show up. I check device manager and it’s there but when I go to disk management it says that Disk 1 is unknown, not initialized and the space is unallocated. The partition style is also not applicable and its status is not initialized and whenever I try to initialize it Virtual Disk Manager says “Acce
