External Hard Disk by the device manager but not anywhere else

I have an external hard disk that i usually use that works normally. but one day, during the process of updating a game installed there, it suddenly experiencing issues.first, the hard disk has the [I/O Device Error]. when i try to unplug and replug, it still didnt work. then, i tried to reinstall the driver, but that didn't fix it. instead, the hard disk is now not showing up in my file explorer. the same issue is there on other laptops.Next, i rechecked the Device Manager. it's still being read, but on occasions, it's set as hidden. After that, i try to fix it using cmd and Disk Management.
