Exporting and Importing a Hyper-V VM from my old PC to my new PC

Hi guys, and I know, I know, it's Christmas Eve. But I have been struggling with this isuse for weeks. I have recently replaced my computer but I have a VM on it I just want to move over to the new computer. Both PCs are running Win 11 Pro. I have tried everything I've read on the net and the import just doesn't work. It either won't open at all, error messages or the import is missing all the desktop folders, etc. Very frustrating. It sounds so simply but there must be undocumented secret handshakes or something. Oh, and the VM is a Win 10 Pro box. Any help would be greatly appreciat
