.exe files not opening

Hi, I am not able to open my .exe files of my laptop. When i double click and open them, nothing happens. I even tried opening and run as administrator, but its not working. Please I need your help, Microsoft. i am attaching a photo of my task manager where multiple tasks of the same name are open. Why dies this happen?
