My laptop (Gigabyte A5 X1) will only connect to the Ethernet network if it is plugged in during boot. It pretends that the cable doesn't even exist if I plug it in while it's on. The troubleshooter "Find and fix problems with your network adapter" also says that the cable is "not properly connected or may be broken" although that certainly isn't the case.It works fine if I reboot while having the cable plugged in.This has been the case for the past few days and I have made no changes to any network settings in the past few months.
