Error with .net Framework updates

I just discovered that the .net Framework updates have failed on my PC. The last good install was .net 4.5.1.

I tried installing .net 4.7.2 but got a 1603 error and Error 997 Overlapped IO Operation.

I tried several suggested fixes from forums but they have not worked.


I then tried to install .net 4.5.2 but it also failed with the following error in the log file:


netfx_Full_GDR_x64.msi is now available to install
