Error code 80004005 when trying to add a work account to my laptop

[Windows 11]

My current work laptop was originally set up using my own personal microsoft account. Our company has recently shifted to using dedicated microsoft work accounts with our own domain and i was asked to change accounts on my laptop to the work account i was assigned. I've logged out of my original microsoft account and am now using a local account but cant seem to add my work account. I keep getting this error instead. Is there any way I can fix this?
