Error code 31 for Intel® Smart Sound Technology Detection Verification

I cant exactly remember when this started, but at some point i noticed that some devices couldnt connect to my Hp Probook 450 G4. when i checked device manager and there were two errors. one was for the driver above, and the other for Synaptics FP Sensors (WBF) (PID=003f) which also has a code 31. i've tried restarting my laptop but it didnt work, manually downloading the latest update for the detection verification, but not the synaptics, but whenever i tried updating it kept showing the screen as seen herei have tried completely unnistalling the driver and restarting my laptop but it still d
