I'm experiencing the EXACT same problem as the user here: Redirecting launcher wasn't launching. frustration ensues. for some reason decided to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling. [MISTAKE. noted, i also tried opening both minecraft versions without the launcher and both of them crashed so I, regrettably, also uninstalled those after a while of trying] it does NOT install. not the launcher. not just minecraft. nothing. always gets stuck between 26% & 28% and
