Error code: 0X800701B1 occurs when I try to open any video in any video playing app

Hi, so just like the title says, I can't get any video files to play on windows 11. I'm assuming it's something in my settings as any mp4 or mov I can find isn't playable, ones that were on my drive before this started happening and new files that I downloaded to test. Won't play through either the windows movies app or photos app. I've also tried a third party app from the windows store and that won't play video files either. Anyone know what might be wrong?
