Error 0xc1900104 on update to Windows 11 24H2

I am trying to update my Asus Zenbook UX393 laptop to version 24H2 of Windows 11. It downloads OK but the installation gets stuck at 97% complete. Then EVENTUALLY (after many hours) the installation fails with error 0xc1900104. I can't see any recent support about this error code - the rather older (Windows 10) support talks about first using the Update Troubleshooter but I can't see where this can be accessed in the Windows 11 Settings. Advice, please!
