Error 0x80080005 when updating windows

Hello, i just got a new laptop and I couldn't seem to open the Xbox app, I tried various troubleshooting options I found and one prompted me to check the Windows updates. I encountered error 0x80080005 when I attempted to update the system and even if I restart or retry, the same error appears. Does anyone know how to fix this? i just wanted to reinstall some games from the Xbox app since I have the Game Pass, but I'm not sure how to proceed.
