error 0x643

I am running Windows XP. A security update is unable to be installed. The
error code is 0x643. Any ideas?

you may receive Windows Update error code "0x643" or Windows Installer error

I am having the same problem. Other mesages said to remove the flash player
using the downloadable Adobe software and then reinstall it from the Adobe
website. Other messages said to remove the flash.ocx and swflash.ocx from
the computer. I don't know how to do this.
