Epson Perfection V39II not working after Windows upgrade to version 24H2

Hi,My Nucbox G5 mini PC was running Windows 11 version 23H2, had some glitches, so had a complete reset of my PC. After reset, I upgraded to version 24H2 and connected my USB Epson Perfection V39II Scanner. Unfortunately, after installing the upgrade and the device driver provided by Epson, the EpsonScan 2 application as well as the Epson ScanSmart application is not working. When I start the EpsonScan 2 application, I get the following pop-up messages.es2launcher.exe - System ErrorThe code execution cannot proceed because mfc100u.dll was not found.
