Enabling GPU driver causes no signal sent to the monitor

3 days ago, the AMD Software (Adrenalin Edition) updated without my consent, and so the display driver probably updated as well.I close my computer, leave it for around 3 hours, boot it, and notice my monitor isn't receiving any signals after the boot screen.So then I went into safe mode by shutting down the computer 3 times, disabled the display driver, restarted the computer, and now the OS display things on the monitor just fine (although it's most likely using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter).I'm not sure what to do to solve this issue.
