Email to reset the pin won’t send

[Windows 11]

I recently reset my PC and had set it up with a new pin. Unfortunately, a few days later I went to sign in and forgot the pin. I didn’t set up any alternative password so the pin was the only way in. I tried many times to use the send sign in code option to this very account I’m typing this from, but no matter what I’d never receive an email with the code. I’ve found some posts with a similar problem but their information seems to be outdated as the links they provide no longer exist.
