email addresses do not come up

I am an old lady who works from home for my son. I have business contacts in my email addresses that i have used for years and are valid. Even each of my sons addresses disappeared or became invalid.

Business email addresses-I can find in People but they do not come up when i start to type in the name anymore. Or, they are missing.

I am not smart enough to go thru some major guru thing so what happened and why and who is going to fix this?
