Edit Precision Touchpad settings in registry Windows10 Home x64

The gesture options for my Elan Touchpad (Acer Aspire 5 515-54G) are far too limited, AAP does not seem to have any effect on tap sensitivity (lag/delay) as URLs/files are frequently opened accidently during my scrolling while AAPThreshold is set to 3 (low sensitivity). I would like to change my present setting "Tap once with One Finger = activate" to "Tap twice with One Finger = activate" and "Tap once with One Finger = select" or disable altogether. Swapping tap settings is possible with Asus Precision Touchpads and I wonder how this can be accomplished with my Elan driver 13.6.16.1?
