EDGE painfully slow to save files

Every time i try to safe any file from edge in win 11, edge grinds to a halt.After if i click 'save image' i get the empty save panel and the blue wheel turning, and edge saying: "working on it".and only after between 6 to 8 seconds(!) the panel becomes active.the recent 26-03-2025 windows update seemed to have fixed it for one day but then the next day the same problem was back( 2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5053598) )i just tried different browsers (chrome and duckduck go) and the problem is the same.So it seems not a edge specific problem aft
