Edge disappeared from Start Menu

I do not use Microsoft Edge except in rare circumstances.At some point since I last used Microsoft Edge, it completely vanished from my start menu.the program still appears in the application list, still has an application folder, and can be launched.How do I restore Edge to the start menu and how do I know, with confidence, that the start menu's application list is correct going forward?
