Easy way to deal with file grouping issues and problems in Windows 11

While I appreciate the thought that went into creating file grouping, it has been a terrible time waste as it seems to turn itself on at random times on folders I have disabled it for. Worse, when I have open dialog boxes and am trying to upload files from folders/directories that have a lot of files in them, I can't simply sort by alphabetical or date because if it has the file grouping by something turned on, there is no way to turn that off in the dialog box when using it to browse the directory.
