Easy anti cheat immediately causes bsod

Recently bought a pc. Began downloading a few games and noticed that Fortnite and apex both don’t get passed the easy anti cheat loading screen before giving me the bsod. I have lol and Val and they both seem to run ok. I’ve tried looking at countless videos about trying to repair EAC. but alas mine doesn’t even open the EAC software. It flashes a cmd prompt and then vanishes. Any suggestions?
