During windows installation through bootable usb drive, the windows booting files get copied or cloned to the drive on installing device?

I formatted my pendrive and then made it bootable and used it for windows installation, i am concerned about that will my deleted data from pendrive also get transferred to the device where i have installed the windows from bootable usb drive.
