duplicating displays without using windows features, how can it be done?

I have an all-Ryzen pc and i am trying to get my 21:9 monitor to work with my 16:9 capture card (which acts as a monitor) and it's been impossible because i tried using obs to duplicate the screen, but it was grainy and didn't work right. I have found nothing else to help me except maybe these forums? can you guys solve this?the purpose of doing this is duplicating monitors doesn't downscale resolution for use at 2440p60, I'm using an hdmi cable and im trying to get max resolution at 60 fps but when i duplicate the resolution locks to my monitors resolution, and no I'm not going to turn my res
