Duplicate Windows folders in C drive

So I got two Windows folders in my laptops C drive, One is older than the other however the files inside are identical and up today in the same way.I can't tell if one is a COPY or if one is just redirecting to the other folder somehow??? Cause if its a copy really want it gone cause my memory is running out and its not all that easy to make it better (for me at least)Already ran antivirus and malwarebytes and got nothing, been like this a few years.Tried looking up around online but didn't find anything that quite matched what this is, only stuff about dup empty folders and what not.
