Dual Booting and Bitlocker on Windows 11 Home

I am trying to set up dual boot on my laptop to use windows and linux on seperate partitions. I haver created and installed the linux OS on the second partition, and disabled secure boot. But when I try to boot into into it from the BIOS, I get a request prompting me for my bit locker key. I'm confused as i am using Windows 11 home and thought this did not have bit locker... But when I enter the key from my Microsoft account, it boots into windows. I have searched for ways to disable Bitlocker, but bit locker does not show up anywhere in y control panel or settings. I am at a loss as it seems
