Dual boot: Windows 11 startup extremely slow after reboot from Ubuntu / Linux Mint

I have an Intel PC with a dual boot, Ubuntu/Linux Mint and Windows 11. What I notice is that rebooting Windows 11 after closing Linux takes a lot of time. Also starting applications afterwards takes a very long time. Both OS's have more than enough disk space. Can someone explain how this happens and if it can be fixed?
