driver is lost after Windows 10 upgrading

Hi dear support,

It is a intermittent behavior that happens sometimes on particular machines. After Windows 10 upgrading ( e.g. from 1809 to 1903 ), plug and play driver cannot be found so that the USB device cannot be recognized any longer. As we saw, driver doesn't exists in DriverStore.

My quesion is:

1. Are there any rules plug and play drivers are removed during OS upgrading?
2. What can I do to avoid this scenario?
