Drive One sucked-up my documents (and all compartments: DESKTOP, DOCUMENTS) from my laptop and I cant find/return them

I had to reset my Windows 11 that came with my HP lap-top. I did it with option to save all data and files. After resetting it, i did not notice that One Drive automatically started to suck up my files from Desktop and Documents compartment. It sucked all my DOCUMENTS and DESKTOP compartments from my lap-top AND FILES AND DOCUMENTS INSIDE!!!!!! My ALL Document compartment on my lap-top was EMPTY, and DESKTOP compartment half empty of files and documents! In windows explorer many of my files and documents had small red cros "x".
