Drive image cannot log in. Places user into a temporary account

[Windows 10]

I created an image of an older computer running win10 onto a different drive. When installed on my newer computer (running win11) I cannot boot from it (completely different hardware creating some driver issues) but I can view all user generated files. I occasionally run into privilege issues when transferring certain program files. When I reinstall the new drive into the old computer however it will boot into windows but when it comes to logging in it will accept the correct password, show a very long preparing windows screen, and then tell me that the login failed and that I'm in a temporary
