downloaded mp4 couldn't play on my windows 10 computer

I downloaded a 51 second home video to my Windows 10 computer from my android phone (mp4). It would not play because "item encoded in a format that's not supported." Error # 0xc00d5212 This is a video that is precious to me, my dear departed. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks
