Don’t remember setting a pin. Can’t reset my pin because I don’t have access to the old phone number associated with the account.

I select “forgot my pin”. It has me login to my Microsoft account, no problem. It wants to verify through text message, I don’t have access to that phone number so it tells me update my security information at Microsoft account go there and it just gives me the exact same prompt of trying to verify using my old phone number. I select that I don’t have access to it and it prompts me to change the number, which I do. It then tells me that I have to wait 30 days for it to go through. Am I just locked out of my computer for 30 days? I don’t have anything tying me down to th
