Amie,
I am having the exact same problem and i can't find a solution for it
anywhere. Have you managed to sort the issue on your PC? I've also read
about the accelerator but don't know what it is/where to find it. I'm with
T-Mobile for mobile broadband, if you could offer any help with this i'd be
so grateful as it is driving me crazy.

Blurred images
Recently all of the images on webpages i have visited on Internet Explorer
have been blurred. If i hover the image an information box appears above my
cursor saying "Shift+R improves the quality of this image. CTRL+5 reloads the
whole page" Can anyone help me with this as it is very annoying not being
able to see photographs on webpages clearly...

Are you using any kind of download accelerator, or other software that
promises to improve your internet performance?
All the above work, in part, by downloading reduced resolution versions
of web page graphics. To see the full resolution image you have to
perform a maneuver similar to what you describe doing.

I do not know the name of every such program. You will have to go
through your computer to see what you have installed.
A download accelerator or download manager steps in when you download
files, including web pages, and manages the download process.
In general: It's a good idea to become familiar with the software that
is installed on your computer. You should be able to recognize every
program that is installed and know what it does. After all, it's your
computer and you should decide what gets installed.
