Does my location choice affect my language program?

Hi Microsoft,I have just reinstalled windows 10 on my Bitlocker locked Acer laptop and wiped the drive clean and successfully got back use of my PC. I chose a UK English version for the language.During the windows installation process, a box came up asking if my location was in the United Kingdom. I actually, live in China and was a bit concerned that if I changed it to my true location it would affect the language, namely the language would be changed to Chinese.
