Does microsoft cause its old OS's to cap the cpu or gpu to run at slower speeds?Im only asking this because i have a laptop i bought for gaming in 2008 or 09 with windows 7 on it - i used to play WoW back then and it ran great, and Aion too but Aion ran with just a little graphics lag but it ran well enough i could deal with it. And thats all fine and dandy, im just noting this to give you an idea how well it ran games.Back then most of the games i played were older games like Anarchy Online and Neocron and Morrowind, and of course those had no issues running at peak performance on this lapto
