Does anyone know how to fix this Ethernet problem??

So basically I've had this Ethernet cord for many months but then suddenly one day the Ethernet stopped connecting to the actual Internet, does anyone know anything I could do to fix this? It detects the router and everything but struggles to connect to the internet, and it stumps me.
