Does all versions of Windows 11 support more than one GPU

I am running Win 11 Pro for Workstations Version 24H2 (OS Build 26 100.2605) on an ASUS PRIME Z390-P MB with 64GB (4 Kingston DDR4 2400Mhz 16G) and Intel Core i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHZ and one EVGA GEFORCE RTX 3070 Ti GPU. I would like to add more than one of the same GPU but when I do Windows will appear to boot up and then hang. According to ASUS the MB can support more than one GPU but I cannot get Windows to fully boot when a 2nd GPU is installed.
