do i need xbox to run msfs from a drive

[Windows 11]

so when i have a hard drive and i try to play microsoft flight simulator and i dont have a xbox app downloaded (when i try to download the app it says to ask permision; i got this pc and i am under 16 years old and i am not really good with tech) and someone from microsoft do you need to have the xbox browser downlaod to play games from a harddrive? And one thing it says it doesnt run on the version that i have and i run on a windows 11 and i have another pc. please answer
