Do i need to buy new microsoft windows?

I bought a retail windows 3 years ago and used it.Now Im building a completely new pc ( new SSD and motherboard).Can i re-use my old Windows that are link to my hotmail account from my old pc for this one.And i think i also lost the retail windows box case and code.
