Do I have the option to NOT upgrade to Windows 11 24H2?

My computer restarted and automatically updated to Windows 11 - 24H2. When I tried to log back in, I got this error code: 0xd0000225 related to the PIN login. It's the same issue some others have posted about being forced to use the PIN and not being able to use my password or fingerprint. Sidenote: there are other threads where users are reporting the option to remove the PIN sign-in option is grayed out and not possible so even if you try to remove it before updating, it doesn't seem like this path is possible. I've Google'd the issue and read most of all the threads with possible solutions.
