I have a cool RGB keyboard I'm dying to use but can't. The keyboard works fine for a few seconds but then stops functioning. It installs ok but then something weird happens and it seems like there's a secondary driver that windows tries to install but fails. it causes a Set Address Failed error in device manager. So I checked event viewer and I notice that every single time I've attempted to install this keyboard I see this distributed com error. I followed a guide that showed me how to grant access to the appID and the CLSID in the registry and use Component Services to grant local services permissions but I am still getting these errors.

here is the guide I followed
