Disparity in Download Speeds (WiFi, Windows 11)

First time owning a laptop (ASUS Vivobook Go 15 Oled, E1504FA-L1412WS), and I am very confused as to why my download speed in it is very slow in comparison to my near decade old mobile phone.Both are connected to the same router @5ghz with an advertised speed of 50 megabits per second. The phone easily maximizes that in both upload and download, while my laptop only reaches 2-6 megabits on average with a maximum of 8-10 on downloads and around half of the advertised speeds on uploads.
