DISM Scanhealth/Checkhealth/Restorehealth don't seem to be running correctly on my new PC?

HiI have just got a new PC and am having issues with Microsoft Update (in particular Update KB5050009). I am currently trying to find the cause of the problem and one of the things I've noticed is that whilst I can run sfc /scannow and get a response that ' Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.', when I follow up with the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth or RestoreHealth command, after the image version appears, nothing, no progess whatsoever, it appears to hang up.
