Years if not a decade ago, I used a different outlook account to set up a desktop computer for my kids. I set up family screen time limits for both of my kids. The desktop is long gone and I no longer have access to that outlook account. I've tried recovering it but I keep getting the automated response that I did not provide enough info to recover the account. It's been so many years I simply can't remember what my passwords would have been or who I sent emails to maybe 10 years ago.
In the meantime, my kids are now adults and have new laptops but they are still dealing with screen time limits that seem to be tied to their email accounts. I've tried to have them select "leave family" but I'm assuming that this would need to be acknowledged by me in the old outlook account that I can't access. I don't know how to fix this and I don't want them to have to create all new email accounts simply because we cannot get the locks removed from an obsolete outlook account.
