Disable Personal Vault does not work?

I'm trying to disable the personal vault, because it is insanely annoying. They really should just eliminate the feature. I don't see it's purpose. I assume all my content on OneDrive is protected. I don't need redundant protection. Anyway, you can't disable it. When I click "Disable Personal Vault", I get the confirmation popup which says everything will be permanently deleted. I click "Disable" and nothing happens. I've tried with in Chrome, Brave and Edge. It does not work.And how is "OneDrive" not a Category or Topic on here?
