Excel 2013 freezes (previous and still current issue) and only fix is to turn off Print Spooler. Since I have done that, I can no longer get my HP Photosmart 6520 series Printer to work anymore. The only time I can get it to work is to restore to an earlier time before certain Windows updates, but now that earlier time has been superseded.
So I can't get it to open Devices and Printers without turning off the Print Spooler, but you can't load a printer while it is off. So with the window open, I select 'Add a Printer'. It shows the printers, but freezes when I select one with the Print Spooler on. This problem has been going on since last year.
Still nothing from MS to support the product they sold me. In addition, they are making changes to the Windows OS with changes no one has asked for, i.e. Apps, the removal of the Start button, Hiding functions in Office and on Windows 10! So the reason for the change is to make users totally dependent on MS provided services in order to keep paying the programmers who are screwing all of this stuff up due to laziness and a lack of testing with multiple variables. Its the programmer and not the customer that is always right.
